Overview

The department of Ophthalmology provides both basic and specialised eye care services for patients. We provide 24 hour emergency ocular trauma care services also. We have trained and experienced consultants offering specialised treatment for a range of eye problems. The department also has state-of-the-art equipment and technical facilities to provide quality treatment. Consultants are trained in optometry, and they help in the prescription of glasses for children and adults also. The department is equipped with a world-class theatre facility and provides painless phacoemulsification surgery for cataracts. The other services provided by the department include squint evaluation, diabetic retinopathy screening, and glaucoma evaluation and management.
